Programmer Update Options

Option 1a.

We will update your exisitng Brunning Software serial programmer so the latest low cost low power XLP 16F and 18F PICs can be programmed.

1a. Modify your existing programmer PCB................................... £15.00
       Change the programming voltage from 12 volts to 9 volts.
       Add extra ground connections to improve the high frequency performance.
       Change drive resistor to lower programming source impedance.
       Add small capacitor to prevent rogue programming clock pulses.
       Fit latest control PIC BSPICH0C.

2. New book: Experimenting with XLP PICs
      + CD of our latest PIC programming software
      + One each of the latest XLP PICs
       PIC16F1827, PIC16F1936, PIC18F25K22...........................£25.00

3. Carriage to a UK address............................................................£ 9.00

Option 1b.

We will build you the very latest P928-X programmer re-using the expensive items from your existing programmer.

1b. Transfer your existing components to a new PCB................ £45.00
       We will remove the expensive items from your existing PCB (LCD,
       keypad, 40 pin ZIF socket and 24 pin ZIF socket) and build one of
       our latest PCB using these components. We will fit the new PCB
       onto your original base (with your original plugboard). We will
       test the rebuilt programmer to the very latest specification.

To take up this offer you must return your programmer to Brunning Software carriage paid.

You may also need a USB to serial adaptor........ £10.00 inclusive

To take up this offer telephone first to book your update. Then return just your programmer module with a cheque and a note of your return address, nothing else. For option 1a the programmer must be the serial version with one or two 9 pin D sockets. For option 1b the programmer can be the parallel or serial port version.
